Company history

The company was founded in 1993 with the focus on the area of Corporate networking. BY successful realisation of projects for significant clients, mostly of the financial institutions sector, the company has gained a stable status in its field of activity.

OMNICOM has started to cover the field of conception, realisation and message of so called “open solutions in the area of complex communication networks, with emphasis on LAN, MAN, WAN and the background of the Internet network. Individual approach to direct needs and demands on clients has became a characteristic feature of our company since the beginning. The company strategy is based on pursuit of high professionalism, superior client support and minimisation of any risks.

By the beginning of 2005, OMNICOM extended its services of the area of ITSM (Information Technology Service Management), specifically of the ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) approach, which is an internationally recognised standard for ITSM. In this area we provide consultancy services, as well as professional training courses. The consultancy section of OMNICOM services consists of a team of consultants and lectors, who dispose the highest possible certification of professional qualification in the ITSM area, a so called „Manager‘s Certificate in IT Service Management“, and a number of valuable experiences from real-life practice in ITSM projects.

The company OMNICOM, s.r.o. (Ltd.) belongs to prophets of the edifying activity on the field of tried-and-trusted processes of the IT best practice v the Slovak republic. In autumn 2005, we organised the very first expert seminar within the Slovak republic, the company maintain a comprehensive web portal from the ITSM field and other world best practice (www.bestpractice.sk and www.bestpractice.cz) and cooperates with the independent professional association itSM Forum. It has been a member of the association since 2005 and initiated the establishment of its Slovak chapter. At the same time, OMNICOM has been officially authorised for the ISO/IEC 20000 standard translation to the Slovak version by Slovak institution for technical standardisation.

In 2007 and 2012, OMNICOM extended of IT Service Group, s.r.o. (Ltd.) and myCON s.r.o. (Ltd.), that successfully functioned on the ITSM market in the Slovak republic. The main goal of these changes is to maintain and continuously expend the position of the marketing No. 1 in Slovakia in providing professional consulting and educational activities in the field of T service management (ITSM) as well as other IT best practice, such as BiSL®, Lean IT, PRINCE2® and Agile.

In the future, company OMNICOM, s. r.o. (Ltd.) wants to continue the trend of expanding and increasing the quality of the portfolio of its services and products in order to satisfy its clients needs.
